Exhibition Concept
The project, initiated in 2008 by the He Xiangning Art Museum, aims to build a stable platform for artistic exchange. The 2014 theme focuses on how artists adapt their work to the specific cultural and social context of each location. Artists start their pieces in Macao and then add, extend, or modify them in response to the local environment at each tour stop (Pingtung, Shenzhen, Hong Kong). This process highlights the adjustments, conflicts, and understandings between the different social structures and values of the four regions.
