What does the garden in your mind look like? And what about the garden in others' minds? Gardens and parks have always been public community facilities. How do you view these spaces? This workshop attempts to transform 'users' into 'community designers,' encouraging them to actively consider the connection between space design and the community, initiating dialogue and communication.

Through community observation, artistic creation, small installations, and interaction, participants are invited to unleash their imagination! The finished works will be showcased in a results exhibition in late August.

Workshop Details

🌾 Youth Group (Ages 13–18)

• Description: Introduces the types, elements, and possibilities of gardens, shares garden-themed art, and explores the beauty of gardens. Activities include outdoor observation and material collection, designing a public art piece, and drawing one's ideal garden.
• Dates: August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 (Every Wednesday & Friday)
• Time: 3:00–5:00 PM
• Capacity: 15 people
• Facilitator: Summer Yeung (Art Practitioner)
• Fee: MOP 960 for 6 sessions (materials included)

🌾 Children's Group (Ages 8–12)

• Description: Explores what kind of garden children would design through games, creating stories set in gardens, and using garden elements for art, including collage and clay printing.
• Option 1:
  • Dates: August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 (Every Wednesday & Friday)
  • Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Capacity: 8 people
• Option 2:
  • Dates: July 31, August 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 (Every Saturday & Sunday)
  • Time: 2:30–4:00 PM
  • Capacity: 8 people
• Facilitator: Summer Yeung (Art Practitioner)
• Fee: MOP 820 for 6 sessions (materials included)
  • Note: The final schedule for the Children's Group will be determined by the most popular time slot.
