The Youth Art Gallery under the Education and Youth Development Bureau will present the "Chasing Light – Zeng Xiaolian Portrait Photography Exhibition" from August 23 to September 4, 2016.
This exhibition showcases the portrait photography works of a young photography enthusiast, Zeng Xiaolian. Most of the works are shot using backlighting, with soft and warm tones highlighting Zeng's intimate and unpretentious photographic style. Through this exhibition, Zeng hopes to allow the audience to experience the charm of combining light and portraiture, and to encourage more photography enthusiasts to use natural light to capture beautiful moments, feeling the warmth and happiness brought by sunlight.
Notably, in each exhibition, the exhibitors, with the assistance, guidance, and encouragement of the gallery staff, participate in exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and installation work. This fully embodies the Youth Art Gallery's mission to provide young people with space for exhibitions and performances to showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate their creative thinking and self-confidence.
