Featured Artist

Huang Shaoqiong is an inheritor of Guangdong Chaoyang paper cutting. With nearly 30 years of experience, she expresses her aspirations for a beautiful life through auspicious red paper. She skillfully employs the forms and styles of Chaoyang paper cutting, integrating its essence with calligraphy, fine arts, and carving to create her unique style. Her works are often in series, inheriting the technique of 'flowers within flowers' and the characteristic that 'every pattern has meaning, and every meaning is auspicious.' She values innovation in art, inheriting traditions without being confined by them, and seeking novelty without losing the essence.
