Exhibition Overview

This exhibition celebrates over a century of the Xiling Seal Society's illustrious achievements. Founded in 1904 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, the society was initiated by Zhejiang School seal engravers, with Wu Changshuo as its first president. Its mission is to preserve epigraphy, study seal arts, and promote calligraphy and painting.

Featured Works

The exhibition features approximately 39 original calligraphy and painting masterpieces by successive presidents of the Xiling Seal Society, including:

Wu Changshuo
Ma Heng
Zhang Zongxiang
Sha Menghai
Zhao Puchu
Qi Gong
Jao Tsung-I (the incumbent president at the time)

Additionally, the exhibition showcases 24 oracle bones with ancient Chinese script from the collection of Macau collector Peter Siu.
