Calligraphic Poetry: Solo Exhibition by Leong Lai Ieng presents approximately seven sketch works by the artist. The exhibition uses the "stroke of the pen to explore thoughts on the human body and organs." Through the artist's unique creative perspective, it seeks out the wonders of the human form, inspiring connections between different figures, organs, and interwoven events. The works interpret the inner and outer self, as well as the unfolding of reality and creation, through textures of line, shadow, and material. The images present a unique narrative, with the artist hoping to stimulate viewers' thoughts and evoke resonance regarding the relationship between human life activities and bodily organs, as well as the value and meaning of existence.
Leong Lai Ieng was born in Macao and graduated from the Visual Arts program at Macao Polytechnic University, majoring in Sculpture (Education). She has participated in numerous exhibitions with her school and other groups, including:
