Art and coffee are hailed as a perfect combination in the art world. Like 'caffeine,' they immerse people imperceptibly in a world of art and coffee. Macau artist Ma Yu An presents this exhibition within a café, allowing visitors to appreciate his works while enjoying a cup of coffee.
The exhibition features 12 (sets) of paintings and installation works. At first glance, his works are visually striking and convey a sense of pleasure, yet behind the imagery lie various social issues, prompting viewers to reflect on reality.
One notable piece, 'Tsunami II – Ma Yu An Installation Exhibition,' is composed of nearly six hundred spoons, aiming to convey the message of global food imbalance. The displayed 'Silver Spoon' serves as a charitable installation, hoping to raise public awareness.
