Local photographic artist Wong Ying Tak began his journey with photography in the 1970s. He formally started shooting for salons in 1983 and, five years later, was awarded first place globally in the black-and-white photo category by the Photographic Society of America—the only Macau resident to have received this honor. In recent years, Mr. Wong has become fascinated with ecological photography. 'Butterfly Shadows, Rouge Makeup' features numerous photographs of butterflies taken in Macau, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of protecting nature.
