The Education and Youth Development Bureau's Youth Art Gallery will present the "Bottle Encounter: Visual Art Exhibition by Hou Siyu, Li Yuchang, and Luo Jialin" from February 7 to 19, 2017.
This exhibition showcases the visual art works of three senior high school students: Hou Siyu, Li Yuchang, and Luo Jialin. Their diverse portfolio includes:
The exhibition's title, "Bottle Encounter," uses the metaphor of a message in a bottle. It symbolizes the artists' journey after high school graduation, where they will carry their unique dreams like small bottles bravely drifting towards different horizons to create their own bright futures.
A notable aspect of each exhibition at the gallery is the active involvement of the exhibitors. With the assistance, guidance, and encouragement of the gallery staff, the young artists participate in exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and installation. This process fully embodies the gallery's mission to provide youth with space to exhibit and perform, showcase their talents, share creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence.
