2013 marks the fifth anniversary of Borderless Arts. To promote contemporary art education and encourage youth participation in artistic activities to develop their creative potential, the association's annual member exhibition has been reformatted. This year, the exhibition is open to all secondary school students, not just members, through an open call for submissions. The event focuses on selection rather than ranking, aiming to encourage the new generation to engage in contemporary art creation and provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with local and international artists.
A selection committee will evaluate submissions based on originality, artistic merit, and completeness, with the goal of fostering a positive attitude towards artistic creation among young people.
Selected works will be featured in the association's 5th-anniversary member exhibition. Selected participants will receive an award of MOP 1,000 plus a MOP 500 production subsidy as encouragement.
