Overview
An exciting and accessible robotics programming competition for children aged 3-10! Organized by Birdie STEM Lab, this event combines a workshop, training, and competition into a fun 20-30 minute STEM experience. No prior programming knowledge is required!
Key Details
- Date: June 3–4, 2022 (11:30–18:00) & June 5, 2022 (11:30–17:00)
- Location: Macau Tower Outdoor Area (Lohas Weekend F01)
- Duration: 20–30 minutes per session (includes 10-min workshop, 5-min practice, 5–8-min competition)

Competition Format
Participants are divided into three age groups:
- Remote Control Group: Ages 3–5
- Programming Group: Ages 4–6
- Programming Group: Ages 7–10
Each competitor receives a "5C Ability Magic Block." The challenge is to use a screen-free programming robot to transport the block to a designated activation zone, then to a "5C Ability Enhancement Area." The block then travels on a large Lego cable car to a "5C Ability Acquisition Zone," where a Lego Spike smart robot sorts it by color into scientific measuring cylinders. The task tests children's thinking, problem-solving, and speed.

Top 10 winners in each category receive awards:
