"Autumn" is not a specific person or season. For the artist, it is a pure concept and state of existence—a feeling everyone has experienced to some degree. Artists often try to feel sadness or allow themselves to be hurt, consciously or unconsciously, to create works that resonate. This exhibition explores one such resonance: "Autumn."
Life sometimes leads us into inescapable dead ends. A sense of stagnation leaves us with nowhere to turn. To mask our weary faces, we apply thicker layers of makeup, making it increasingly difficult to find our truest selves.
On a night of a full moon, the artist met a girl on the edge of desolation named "Autumn"—a personified spiritual world. Sharing a similar mental state, they began to understand each other. This series of works uses a whisper-like, feminine dialogue to reveal the complex, intersecting facets of the human heart.
Through the fragments and concept of "Autumn," the exhibition contemplates themes of existence: family, friendship, life and death, suffering, love and loss, secrets and truth, sexuality and love. Through the mirror-and-lamp relationship between the artist and "Autumn," it offers viewers an artistic experience of self-discovery and inner reflection.
