Exhibition Overview

"Worshipping the Earth God" is an important sacrificial and festive activity that has been passed down for generations within the local Chinese community. "Macao Earth God Customs" was inscribed on the fifth batch of the National Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2021.

This exhibition showcases nearly one hundred artifacts/sets related to Macao's Earth God customs, including books, inscriptions, photographs, statues of deities, sacrificial items, and birthday celebration objects. It vividly presents the traditional beliefs of Macao's residents in venerating the Earth God and their beautiful wishes for life.
