In an unexpected turn of their lives, four individuals discovered oil painting under the mentorship of Choi Kuok Kit. Inspired by their teacher, they embarked on an exploration of painting, which has since become a significant part of their lives. From their initial forays to developing distinct individual styles, their artistic journey has spanned a considerable period.
Their works reveal deeply personal observations of life and the world, filled with rich imagination, imagery that evokes sound and temperature, peculiar creatures, blazing flames, and spiraling rainbows. Through their paintings, they attempt to connect with the world and unlock new possibilities within their own lives.
By participating in Ox Warehouse's "Art New Generation" platform, the artists hope to introduce this group of passionate youths to a wider public. The exhibition also aims to serve as a driving force for their continued progress, encouraging them to explore the boundless possibilities of painting.
