ARK Macau Art Association presents its 2021 Member Exhibition, 'New Era,' showcasing the unique works of 15 members. Through various media, the artists express their perspectives on their contributions to society, family, themselves, and as citizens.
As the saying goes, we never visit the same place twice. We are constantly adapting to a changing environment, seeking happiness at every stage of life. While happiness means different things to different people, the small actions we each take daily are adaptations for a new era. We are both participants in and co-creators of our entire scene—from commuting to work and processing information, to dining at restaurants, walking in gardens, smiling at strangers, volunteering, learning new skills, caring for parents, and educating others. Each small step we take propels the overall scene forward. While we may seem to be seeking personal happiness, we are all, in fact, collaborating and contributing to society as a whole.
ARK-ASSOCIATION OF MACAU ART (abbreviated as AAMA) is dedicated to promoting art and culture. Through various artistic activities such as exhibitions, lectures, and workshops, it aims to provide Macao residents with a space to learn about art, unleash creativity, and enjoy the pleasure of creation. This not only enhances public appreciation of 'art' but also improves quality of life. Furthermore, it offers a channel to release the stress and monotony of work and daily life through art.
