Introduction

This is Macau's first dedicated children's library, located in the northern part of Areia Preta Park. It stands opposite the main Wong Eng Kwan Library in the southern part of the same park. The building was originally the North District Integrated Civic Service Centre before being converted into a children's library.

Opened on July 2, 2011, the library's initial interior design was themed around the fairy tale 'Alice in Wonderland'. It was later re-themed on December 1, 2012, with a design based on the popular cartoon characters 'Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf'.

The library covers an area of 210 square meters and features a unique circular children's play area used for activities and play. Its collection includes approximately 7,916 books, 970 audio-visual materials, and 55 types of magazines. It offers 65 reading seats.
