Exhibition Overview
In line with the 2014 policy guidelines to "continue providing strong support for youth development" and "sustain the development of artistic and cultural activities," the Youth Art Exhibition Gallery under the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau presents the "Aquino da Silva Hand-Drawn Illustration Exhibition" from April 15 to 27, 2014.
About the Artist & Works
- The exhibition features the illustration works of young designer Aquino da Silva.
- Aquino is a graphic designer who dedicates his spare time to creating hand-drawn, detailed illustrations.
- He believes the act of drawing lines is a pure method of conveying emotion. Repeating this simple action to an extraordinary degree is a form of mental and spiritual exercise.
- Through this exhibition, Aquino aims to share not the use of media, technique, or form, but an attitude of cultivation and practice.
About the Youth Art Exhibition Gallery
- For each exhibition, participants are assisted, guided, and encouraged by gallery staff in exhibition preparation, promotional material design, and setup.
- This fully embodies the gallery's mission: to provide youth with space to exhibit their talents, share creativity, and cultivate creative thinking and self-confidence.
