AP13 'Memory' is the first solo exhibition by Macau art enthusiast Chu Kin Fat, featuring a collection of his printmaking and ceramic works created in recent years at the Macau Polytechnic University.
The exhibition is themed around 'Memory' (憶). All works on display are creations from the artist's past three years of study, capturing countless fragments of memories from his journey from a 'zero' starting point to the brink of graduation. People and events have become his most precious treasures. The artist explains that the Chinese character for 'memory' (憶) is composed of 'heart' (心) and 'intention' (意). He hopes to authentically express his personal emotions through his love for printmaking, sincerely wishing that the meaning embedded within his works can reach everyone's heart.
Chu Kin Fat is currently a student in the Visual Arts (Art Education) program at the Macau Polytechnic University's School of Arts, specializing in printmaking. He is a member of the Macau International Printmaking Art Research Centre and has participated in numerous local and international printmaking exhibitions. Through his art, he aims to reflect on life's issues and express personal sentiments.
This exhibition is part of the Ox Warehouse's Artist-in-Residence program. Admission details were not specified in the original announcement.
