Supported by the Creative Industries Promotion Association of St. Lazarus Parish and sponsored by the Macao Foundation, the "Alicia Art Studio Teacher-Student Joint Exhibition" is on display at G32 Gallery from March 6 to June 6, 2021.
Founded in 2018 by Alicia Hu (Hu Yuanyuan), Alicia Art Studio is dedicated to artistic creation and education. Alicia has been fully devoted to oil painting, with her works exported to Europe and America. In response to the downturn in the international art market during the pandemic, she turned her focus to teaching painting. While this significantly reduced her personal creative time, she finds great meaning in spreading painting knowledge and earning recognition from students and parents.
This exhibition primarily showcases the works of students, including both adults and children. For most participants, this was their first experience with acrylics, a medium similar to oil paints. With a little guidance and patient cooperation, everyone was able to successfully create paintings they were satisfied with.
The exhibition embodies the concept of "teaching benefits teachers as well as students," as the instructor also finds new creative inspiration and methods through teaching. Painting is an excellent way to relax both mind and body.
Everyone is welcome to join Alicia in exploring art, discovering the artist within, and meeting another side of themselves.
