Exhibition Overview

Multi-dimensional experiential art space Artelli, in collaboration with ARTONEERS and Galerie Koo, presents the first Macau solo exhibition "Always Near You" by New York artist Adam Handler from March 8 to April 23, 2024. This marks his largest exhibition in Asia to date. The exhibition draws from Handler's profound personal experiences and his childhood memories of popular superheroes, presenting an exploration of superhero narratives.

Artistic Style

Handler's painting technique is full of childlike fun, using acrylic paint, oil pastels, pencils, and markers. By employing scratches and mottled lines on the canvas edges, he creates nearly flat, low-depth characters that exude a sense of urgent improvisation. His artistic style is primarily cute, raw pop art, with works inspired by his personal experiences and family emotions, radiating innocence and profound autobiographical colors, offering visitors an artistic journey filled with love and healing.
