The "A Colourful Spectrum" exhibition, organized by the Ark Association of Macau Art and sponsored by the Cultural Development Fund of the Macao SAR Government, is the association's 2024 member exhibition. It will be held in two sessions, featuring works by 24 local art enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. The exhibition showcases a variety of mediums including oil paintings, photography, digital art, and mixed-media creations. Each piece reflects the unique personality of its creator, offering audiences a distinctive artistic experience.
The phrase "A Colourful Spectrum" typically describes something dazzling and vibrant. It could be a city adorned with neon lights after years of change, the sunset glow witnessed after hard work, a rainbow after rain, or a sea of flowers—all carrying profound meaning. The exhibition emphasizes the concept of "ten," celebrating the Ark Association's 10th anniversary while serving as a re-record of a decade of personal transformation and an aspiration for the next ten years. Members freely interpret the theme of "A Colourful Spectrum" in their creations.
The Ark Association of Macau Art (AAMA) is dedicated to promoting art and culture. Through various activities such as exhibitions, talks, and workshops, it aims to provide Macao residents with a space to learn about art, unleash creativity, and enjoy the fun of creation. This not only enhances public appreciation of art and quality of life but also offers a channel to release stress and monotony from work and daily life through artistic expression.
