Celebrate the festive season with the brilliance of neon lanterns! The 2nd Macao Lantern Festival illuminates the city, showcasing Macao's unique blend of Chinese and Portuguese cultures. The installations at Nam Van Lake and the One Central waterfront promenade create a captivating atmosphere, enhancing the Mid-Autumn Festival spirit under the full moon.
Lantern Displays
Nam Van Lake (Nam Van‧Yat Bun Park)
- Design Concept: Based on three core elements: Macao Architecture, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Macao Culture.
- Features: Eight neon lantern installations with silhouettes themed around the Mid-Autumn Festival.
- Details: The lanterns are adorned with patterns of Macao's iconic landmarks and traditional Mid-Autumn symbols, such as jade rabbits, mooncakes, and fruits.
One Central Waterfront Promenade
- Features: Ten large-scale artistic jade rabbit lantern installations.
- Artists: Designed by artists from Mainland China, Portugal, Hong Kong, and Macao.
- Ambiance: The lanterns reflect the bright moonlight, adding a joyful and heartwarming atmosphere to the Mid-Autumn celebrations.
