Exhibition Overview
Following the successful collaboration in March for "AFA in the SKY," Art For All Society (AFA) partners once again with the renowned leisure venue SKY 21 to present "21st Floor Contemporary." This exhibition showcases new works by two celebrated local artists, José Dimou and Bai Qiang, creating a unique fusion of contemporary art, music, and fine dining within SKY 21's distinctive setting.
Featured Artists
- José Dimou: Born in Lisbon, Dimou has been active in exhibitions and art events since 1987. His career spans experimental work in television and theatre (1987-1992), writing and illustration for newspapers, and winning first prize at the ARCO Madrid Art Fair in 1996. He works across various media including video and painting, consistently delivering rich, surprising imagery. His recent solo exhibition "Enchantment" in Beijing received widespread acclaim.
- Bai Qiang: An artist active across multiple disciplines including music, photography, and painting. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and live art performances, such as his solo show "Ecstasy!" and "Painter in Progress" for the 11th Macao City Fringe Festival. His work is known for its intense style and boundary-pushing impact on the local art scene.
