Event Overview
The 2023 Macao Light Festival, themed "Brilliant Playground," is a city-wide celebration transforming Macao into a unique large-scale night-time amusement park. The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) collaborates with six major integrated tourism and leisure enterprises to create a dazzling array of light installations, projection mapping shows, and interactive games across the Macao Peninsula, Taipa, and Coloane.
To extend the festive atmosphere, the Northern District will host the "Fantasy Ice & Snow Playground" extension event, featuring a simulated ice rink, amusement park, family workshops, interactive booths, and canopy light decorations.
