The World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) is a prestigious international mathematics competition that brings together organizations dedicated to promoting mathematics from over 20 countries and regions, including the USA, China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, Bulgaria, India, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Australia, Brazil, Turkey, and Laos.
This annual event culminates in a grand final held in a different host country each year, gathering the world's mathematical elite. It provides students with a global platform to showcase their talents, exchange ideas with peers from around the world, broaden their horizons, and strive for glory.
The WMI fosters international exchange of teaching methodologies, improves the quality of mathematics education, and identifies and nurtures talented individuals. It aims to stimulate students' interest in learning, enhance problem-solving skills, and build a sense of achievement through the competitive process.
