Event Overview
The 2021 Macao Light Festival, themed "Mars Wants to Travel," tells the story of a Martian friend who wishes to visit Macao. Through light installations, interactive games, and light projection shows set up across multiple locations, the festival connects elements related to tourism, creative culture, science, leisure, food, environmental protection, wellness, nature, and the universe. Presented with humor, it aims to bring joy and positive energy to audiences, highlighting Macao's image as a healthy and pleasant destination.

- Dates: January 1–16, 2022
- Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM daily
- Light Projection Shows: Every 30 minutes, lasting 5–8 minutes each. The final show begins at 9:50 PM.
