The 2017 Martial Arts Heroes Gathering brings together martial arts elites from around the world in Macau for a spectacular four-day festival. The event features a diverse lineup of competitions, cultural activities, and performances celebrating Chinese martial arts and lion dance traditions.
Event Highlights
- Sun City CKF Chinese Kung Fu International Challenge – Macau Station: The opening event, an international combat competition sanctioned by the International Chinese Kung Fu Federation (ICKFFF). Fighters from China, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Serbia, the Philippines, the USA, Russia, Brazil, Iran, Belgium, and Macau will compete in ten bouts across different weight classes.
- SJM 4th Asian Dragon & Lion Dance Championship: A premier competition sanctioned by the Asian Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Federation, featuring top teams from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Macau competing in six categories. Witness breathtaking pole-jumping techniques and dazzling luminous dragon performances.
- Martial Arts Summer Carnival: A four-day carnival featuring cultural and creative booths promoting martial arts and Macau-themed products, VR interactive games, lion dance experiences, caricature portraits, and scheduled martial arts performances.
- Other Activities: International Wushu Routine Competition, Sanda Challenge Tournament, Martial Arts & Lion Dance Parade, and the grand closing ceremony.
