Post boxes are facilities for mailing letters and a tool for connecting with friends around the world. The 2016 Philately Festival (December 11, 2016 – April 7, 2017) presents a thematic exhibition centered on the "Post Box." Guided by docents, visitors can appreciate post boxes featured on stamps and miniature models of post boxes from around the world, while sharing interesting anecdotes about them.
A supplementary exhibition, "The Bond of Communication," is held at the Taipa Ka-Mo Post Office Branch.
This exhibition reflects the development of household communication methods and equipment that have significantly impacted the lives of Macao citizens over the past half-century.
Visitors can also experience communication methods from different eras in the "Childhood Store" and "Nostalgic Home" installations and use "Telephone Tracing" to search for old, established shops from the past.
