Event Overview
Organized by the Islands Industrial and Commercial Federation, the '2016 Coloured Islands Consumption Carnival' was a community economic activation event held from July 23 to October 16, 2016. The event aimed to leverage the summer holiday period by collaborating with local merchants to offer various promotions, collectively promoting the retail and commercial scene of the Islands (Taipa and Coloane). The goal was to present the ever-evolving shopping paradise and tourist environment to consumers, encouraging joyful shopping and fostering the development of regional tourism culture. By optimizing resource allocation, the event sought to create synergy among local industries and build a strong brand for the 'Coloured Islands' commercial district, while also providing tangible benefits to local residents.
Event Details & Participation
The three-month carnival centered around a promotional guidebook compiled by the organizers, featuring discount coupons from participating merchants.
How to Participate:
- Option A (Guidebook & Lucky Wheel): Consumers could use any coupon from the guidebook at the corresponding shop. After making a purchase of MOP 50 or more, they could present the shop receipt along with the coupon stub from the guidebook at designated locations to participate in the 'Lucky Wheel' draw.
- Option B (Digital & Electronic Draw): Consumers could scan the QR code at any participating shop and follow the event's WeChat account to receive the shop's discount.
