The 2013 Macau Fashion Festival, aligning with the Macau SAR's policy direction, aimed to promote Macau as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure. With the theme "World Heritage, Culture, Fashion, Creativity," it innovatively combined fashion elements to promote Macau's unique fashion and creative industries, further enhancing the region's reputation in the fashion sector.
The event spanned approximately 1,000 square meters, featuring one static exhibition space and one dynamic fashion show venue.
Objectives
- Promote Local Design in Asia and Internationally: Through the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), the festival aimed to develop Macau's fashion design and garment industry, strengthen connections with professionals from other countries and regions (particularly in Asia), and facilitate knowledge exchange on industry technology and trends.
- Create Business Opportunities: To foster Macau's cultural and creative industries by providing a platform for exhibitors to network and negotiate with international counterparts.
- Encourage Youth to Join Creative Design: To inspire a new generation of young people to enter the fashion design industry and cultivate fresh talent for Macau's creative cultural sector.
- Promote Macau: To showcase Macau's original fashion designs and elevate the profile of its fashion design and garment industry within the region.

- Fashion Shows: Featuring local fashion design brands, special performances by renowned Mainland and international brands, and a graduation show for CPTTM's Fashion Design and Production Diploma students.
- Fashion Style Exhibition Zone: Multiple themed display areas showcasing the latest works and trends from Macau clothing brands.
- Seminars: Inviting experts from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan to discuss the development and future trends of the fashion industry.
