The Macau Annual Visual Arts Exhibition encourages homegrown talent to exhibit their work. This year, for the first time, the exhibition has chosen ‘Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy’ as its featured theme, assembling pioneering works in the fields of Chinese painting, calligraphy, seal carving and experimental inkwash. Some 81 works reflect current trends in these disciplines in Macau.
