Event Overview
The 18th Lusofonia Festival is a vibrant three-day celebration of Macau's unique Portuguese-speaking culture. Held at the scenic Taipa Houses-Museum, this popular event transforms the lakeside amphitheatre and surrounding streets of Taipa Village into a lively Portuguese-style setting, offering a complete experience of food, drink, entertainment, and fun.
Highlights
- Cultural Showcase: Ten Portuguese-speaking communities residing in Macau (including Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, and more) set up booths to display their distinctive handicrafts, artworks, music, photos, and short films.
- Food & Drink: Enjoy a variety of snacks and beverages from Portuguese-speaking countries at dedicated food stalls and kiosks.
- Live Entertainment: Experience energetic live band performances with plenty of space for dancing, alongside local and Portuguese-speaking community dance shows.
