The 11th Macao Design Biennale, a major event in the local design calendar, showcased the highest caliber of creative work from around the world.
This edition marked a significant step towards internationalization for the event. It received a record-breaking number of submissions—over 4,000 entries from 33 different regions globally. Approximately 20% of these works were shortlisted for the final review, representing the highest number and quality of submissions in the event's history.
An international jury comprising Guang Yu (Beijing), Celine Lamee (Amsterdam & Beijing), and Steffen Knoll (Germany) selected the winners. A total of 80 awards were presented across both the Open and Student categories, including:
The exhibition featured approximately 200 selected works from winners hailing from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Germany, the UK, and other regions.
