Founded by the Macau Designers Association, the biennial "Macau Design Biennial Exhibition" has been held since 1994 and is now in its tenth edition. It is the only professional competition in Macau's comprehensive design field and a highly representative design event across the Greater China region. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of promoting creative design and establishing a sound corporate image for industrial development. It aims to enhance the intrinsic value of traditional culture, arts, and corporate brands through the creativity and practicality of design, thereby adding value to Macau's cultural and creative industries.
The 10th Macau Design Biennial Exhibition concluded its call for entries on June 15. The competition attracted participants from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Malaysia, and other regions. Statistics show that this edition had 694 participants and 2,202 entries.
The winning works from the "10th Macau Design Biennial Exhibition" are now on display at the Macao Handover Gifts Museum of Macao until February 18.
