The two major events of the "Lion Art Dual Heritage – Ma Kok Tong" project, the "Lion King International Championship 2023 – MGM Cup" and the "MGM Lion Art Culture Week," will be grandly held from September 23 to October 7 in the Ma Kok Tong area. This initiative innovatively inherits the Lingnan lion dance culture, utilizes Macao's UNESCO World Heritage sites as an international platform for cultural and sports promotion, integrates lion art into life experiences, and embodies the spirit of "Lion Art Dual Heritage."
The highly prestigious international sports event "Lion King International Championship" reaches its 10th milestone. This year, the competition has been comprehensively expanded and upgraded to the "10th Lion King International Championship 2023 – MGM Cup" and will be held for the first time at the Forecourt of A-Ma Temple.

Macao's first "Lion Art Culture Week" offers a unique cultural experience for residents and tourists during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays by organically combining intangible cultural heritage with Macao's World Heritage sites.
This cross-strait, cross-industry collaboration highlights the shared cultural roots and integrated cultural-tourism development between Foshan and Macao, aiming to provide a multi-faceted experience of Lingnan traditional culture for local residents and international tourists of all backgrounds.
