In a free and protected space, the sand tray acts like a mirror. Children create a safe environment by choosing toys, using concrete methods to express their inner thoughts and emotions. This helps them better understand the connection between external events and emotional experiences, aids in processing thoughts and feelings, and creates and practices suitable coping experiences.
