The Touch Wood Project uses woodworking as an entry point for young volunteers to connect with and understand disadvantaged communities, address their household needs, create custom furniture for them, and build emotional connections. While young volunteers learn woodworking skills, we also hope they can feel a sense of mission during the activities, learn to care for others, be grateful, and participate in charitable activities through hands-on action.
We will upcycle reclaimed wood materials to create environmentally friendly and practical furniture tailored to the actual needs of disadvantaged communities.
