Course Overview

This Professional Tea Artist Beginner Level course offers a comprehensive introduction to the profound world of tea culture. The history of tea is long and storied. While ancient Chinese myths cannot pinpoint its exact origin, scholars widely agree that tea was already prevalent in China before the 3rd century BC, initially valued as an herbal medicine or tonic. Lu Yu's "The Classic of Tea" is a seminal work that marks the formation of tea culture, documenting all aspects of tea in detail.
