Course Introduction

Mountain hiking and related activities are becoming increasingly popular. However, these activities require safety awareness and basic etiquette. This course provides introductory foundational knowledge for individuals interested in outdoor mountain activities, allowing them to explore the joys involved. Through this experience, participants can learn everything from pre-trip preparation to handling unexpected situations during the journey, making ample preparations for future hiking or wilderness adventures.

The course is taught by our organization's experienced outdoor adventure instructors, all of whom hold the Hong Kong Mountaineering Union Level 2 Mountaineering Certificate, Adult First Aid Certificate, and possess extensive experience in leading outdoor activities.

Key Information

• Target Participants: Individuals aged 16 or above who are interested. Limited to 16 participants.
• Course Dates: January 5–6, 2018
• Schedule: Friday 19:00–22:00, Saturday 10:00–17:00
• Location: Bosco Youth Village, Rua de Nossa Senhora de Ká Hó, Coloane
• Fee: MOP 610* (This course is not included in the Continuing Education Development Plan) *Early bird discount: MOP 380 for registrations on or before December 19, 2017.
• Fee Includes: Round-trip transportation to the campsite, equipment, and meals for the following day.
