Course Overview

Japanese Porcelain Art (Porcelarts) combines Porcelain and Art, representing a form of overglaze decoration. Students will create designs on pure white porcelain using specialized porcelain decals (transfer paper) and paints to compose a myriad of patterns! This art form not only cultivates artistic interest but also enhances personal inner cultivation. After firing at 800°C for 14 hours, the creations become unique, permanent works of art for daily life.
