✦ Kung Fu Stool Woodworking Class ✧

Discarded wood can only be used for burning!?

This session invites instructors from "Zhai Mu" to bring wood and beams collected from the demolition of old wooden houses. Participants will learn how to repurpose old wood to create a Kung Fu stool. The instructor will teach skills such as wood cutting, hand sanding, and assembling the stool using traditional mortise and tenon joinery.

Class Details:

• Dates: March 12-13, 2022 (Two consecutive weekend days)
• Time: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM & 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Total 8 hours)
• Target Participants: Individuals aged 16 and above with an interest.
• Venue: Eco Fun Station (Há Van)

✧ Sandbox Woodworking Class ✧

Wood can be used to make an instrument!? Instructors from "Zhai Mu" will teach you how to reuse wood to create a musical sandbox—something you can look at, play with, and even perform on!

Class Details:

• Date: March 19, 2022 (Saturday)
• Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Target Participants: Parent-child pairs (1 child and 1 parent) for ages 5 and above.
• Venue: Eco Fun Station (Há Van)
