To cultivate Macau residents' understanding of local laws from a young age, the Legal Affairs Bureau organizes the "Legal Refueling Station" activity. Through group games and interesting animations, children learn various legal knowledge. This year's Legal Refueling Station will commence this Saturday (July 21) at the Wong Ieng Kuan Children's Library in Hac Sa Wan.
The "Legal Refueling Station – Library Children's Law Popularization Workshop," held annually by the Legal Affairs Bureau, has been conducted over 85 times and is highly popular among parents and children. This year's "Legal Refueling Station" starts in July and will be held on one Saturday each subsequent month. Staff members, accompanied by volunteers from the youth team "Law Popularization Power," will visit libraries across Macau to promote legal knowledge to children.
This year's theme is "Let's Get to Know the Basic Law." The content includes an introduction to the Macau Basic Law, as well as knowledge about the Constitution, national and regional symbols. Through lively teaching methods such as group games, legal animations, and quiz competitions, the workshop makes it easy for children to understand, gradually planting the concepts of national identity and patriotism in their hearts.
