The Macau Federation of Trade Unions Fai Chi Kei Family and Community Integrated Service Centre is organizing the "Duty Calls" Youth Volunteer Exchange Camp, sponsored by the Macao Foundation. The activity consists of two parts.
Part 1: Pre-Camp Volunteer Training
- Content: Volunteer work and event planning skills training, donation drive, and pre-camp meeting.
- Training Sessions:
- November 21: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- December 5: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- December 13 (Day Camp): 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Location: Held at the service centre.
Participants with an attendance rate of 80% or above will qualify for Part 2.
Part 2: Qingyuan & Liannan Life Experience Exchange Camp
- Date: December 20–22 (3 days, 2 nights).
- Activities:
- Visit local schools and families.
- Visit underprivileged students and residents.
- Observe simple learning environments and experience rural life.
- Try farming work and participate in interactive games with local students and families.
- Exchange different life cultures and customs.
- Spend an unforgettable, non-typical Christmas holiday.
Registration Details
- Eligibility: Open to youths aged 13 or above.
- Quota: 28 participants.
- Fees:
- Members: MOP 300
- Non-members: MOP 400
- Special Offer: Register with a friend (2 people together) and each person gets a MOP 50 discount.
- Registration Period: From now until November 30.
