Program Overview
A comprehensive youth development program organized by the Macau Volunteer Association Youth Volunteer Group, aimed at fostering social responsibility, leadership, and community engagement among local youth through a series of workshops, training camps, and hands-on service.
Program Objectives
Workshop:
- Enhance communication skills among youth.
- Encourage reducing online gaming and increasing interaction with people from diverse social classes, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
- Foster acceptance and care for others through communication and understanding.
Adventure Life Camp:
- Train youth leaders in planning and organizing activities.
- Enhance resilience and help participants understand the needs of disadvantaged groups.
- Encourage self-reflection on personal identity.
- Teach event planning skills to enable participants to design and implement their own service activities.
Service Internship:
- Provide volunteer service opportunities to increase youth participation in society.
- Understand the needs and situations of service recipients through mutual communication.
- Promote interpersonal relationships with respect and care.
- Learn about community participation to help reflect on the real needs of social service users.
- Foster development in psychological, social, intellectual, and social responsibility aspects to cultivate civic education.
Key Details
- Target Participants: Macau youth and tertiary students aged 16–25.
- Registration Period: From now until March 2 (on a first-come, first-served basis).
- Registration Method: Scan the QR code or register in person at the association.
