Program Overview

An experiential learning program designed for Macao youth, focusing on farming activities to cultivate appreciation, gratitude, and resilience.

Key Details

Target Participants: Macao youth aged 13 to 24.
Quota: 26 participants (first-come, first-served).
Main Activity Dates: August 5–6, 2017 (Saturday & Sunday).
Main Activity Location: Green Fingers Farm, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province.
Pre-departure Meeting: August 2, 2017, 18:00–19:00 at Youth Activity Centre.
Sharing Session: August 27, 2017, 15:00–17:30 at Youth Activity Centre.
Admission: Free.

Registration Information

Registration Period: From now until July 30, 2017.
Registration Location: Youth Activity Centre (Avenida de Horta e Costa, inside Tap Seac Multi-sport Pavilion).
Registration Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 15:30–22:00
- Saturday: 14:00–22:00
- Sunday, Public Holidays & Summer Vacation: 10:00–22:00

Required Documents for Registration

Application form (downloadable from the DSEJ website under "Forms Download").
Copy of Macao Resident Identity Card and Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents.
Activity Participation Responsibility Statement.

Typhoon & Rainstorm Arrangements

If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is still hoisted at 11:30 AM, activities before 18:00 are cancelled.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is still hoisted at 2:30 PM, all activities for the day are cancelled.
Activities proceed as usual under Typhoon Signal No. 1 or 3; parents decide for minor participants.
If a Rainstorm Warning Signal is still hoisted 2 hours before the activity start/assembly time, the day's activities are cancelled.

The organizer reserves the right to interpret and supplement the program rules.
Age is calculated based on full years.
Participants are urged to value resources and avoid no-shows. Please contact staff immediately if unable to depart with the group due to emergencies.
Personal data is handled in accordance with Law No. 8/2005 (Personal Data Protection Act). Data is confidential and used solely for registration. Photos taken may be used for promotional purposes.
