Competition Overview

A slogan creation competition organized by Caritas Macau as part of the 2015 International Day of Older Persons celebrations, themed 'Showing True Care for the Elderly'. The aim is to promote community understanding and care for seniors, advocate respect for the elderly, and foster intergenerational harmony to build a better community.

Competition Details

• Theme: 'You... To LIKE' slogan creation, conveying messages of care, respect, and love for the elderly.
• Word Limit: No more than 20 characters (including punctuation).
• Language & Format: Entries must be written in Chinese using standard script.

Eligibility & Timeline

• Participants: All Macau residents.
• Submission Period: From August 17, 2015, to October 15, 2015.

Judging Criteria

• Relevance to theme (40%)
• Fluency of language (30%)
• Creativity (30%)

The organizing body will invite relevant institutions and celebrities to serve as judging guests.

Awards (Two Categories: Student Group & Open Group)

• Champion (2 winners): MOP 1,200 supermarket voucher + certificate
• First Runner-up (2 winners): MOP 1,000 supermarket voucher + certificate
• Second Runner-up (2 winners): MOP 800 supermarket voucher + certificate
• Merit Award (4 winners): MOP 400 supermarket voucher

Important Notes

• There is no limit to the number of entries per participant.
• Winners will be invited to attend an award ceremony to share their creative insights.
• Participants must authorize the organizer to publicly display winning works.
• Participants must accept and agree to abide by the competition rules and the associated terms and conditions of the awards.
• All information provided will be used for the purposes of this event.
• The list of winners will be notified personally and published on the Caritas Macau website.
• Entries must not contain plagiarized, offensive, or indecent language.
• The charter and forms can be photocopied.
• The organizing body reserves the final right of decision on all results.

How to Enter

1. Participants must submit their entries before the deadline. The entry form can be downloaded from the Caritas website (http://www.caritas.org.mo/) or obtained from their respective schools or institutions.
2. Submit the completed entry form, a copy of the participant's Macau Resident Identity Card, and the sealed entry (clearly marked with the competition title) during office hours to one of the following locations:
