Event Overview
"You Are The Star" is a Macao-wide contest to find the most popular and talented male and female students. The competition combines public voting with a live talent showcase to crown the annual winners.
Competition Format
- Selection: The organizing committee will select eight female and eight male candidates through interviews.
- Final Round: The final winners are determined through a combination of public voting (50%) and a live "Shining Star" talent competition (50%).
- The candidate with the highest combined score from public votes and stage performance will be crowned the year's best.
Prizes & Opportunities
- All selected candidates will be featured in a special column in Star Magazine.
- Winners will receive trophies and cash prizes.
- Top performers will have the opportunity to secure artist contracts with entertainment companies and gain access to more performing arts opportunities.
Best Manager Award
A special "Best Manager" award has been introduced. Managers assist their assigned candidates throughout the competition with tasks such as:
- Styling and image packaging.
- Planning creative and image-enhancing videos.
- Managing schedules and coordination to help maintain high public popularity.
- The award-winning managers will be recommended for internships and job opportunities within entertainment companies.
