World Vision Macau is celebrating its 30th anniversary! To commemorate three decades of walking alongside children in need, we are hosting a series of "Walk with Children for 30 Years" activities from September 1 to 3. We sincerely invite you to join us!

Parent-Child Mud Cake Workshop

Dates & Times

• September 2 (Sat): 11:00 & 15:00
• September 3 (Sun): 11:00 & 15:00 Each workshop session lasts approximately one hour.

Activity Content

• Parents and children work together to make mud cakes (not edible).
• Broaden children's horizons: learn that some impoverished children rely on eating mud cakes to stave off hunger.
• Teach children to cherish food.

Target Participants Children aged 4 to 10 and one parent. Capacity: Maximum of 8 parent-child pairs (one adult, one child) per session.

Registration Method Step 1: Register Online (Online registration must be completed by August 17. If oversubscribed, places will be allocated by lottery.) Step 2: Successful applicants will be notified by phone on August 21. Please pay the activity deposit of MOP 50* at the World Vision office within the specified time to confirm your registration. The deposit will be fully refunded on the day of the activity.

Famine Supermarket

Dates & Times September 1-3 (10:00–20:00, a total of 30 hours)

Activity Content

• Visit the Famine Supermarket. With one action, create double the help, supporting both local and African communities.
• Supplies purchased by customers in the supermarket will be converted into donations, fully allocated to famine-stricken areas in Africa for food security, nutritional support, and water infrastructure projects.
• Some supplies will be distributed to local underprivileged families through the Macau Christian Church Service Centre after the event.
• Special guest store managers will be present.

In addition to the "Parent-Child Mud Cake Workshop" and "Famine Supermarket," the venue will also feature a precious historical photo exhibition and a "Helping Communities, Nurturing Children" board game display area. These allow the public to review important milestones of World Vision's local services, famine relief activities, and child sponsorship programs over the past 30 years.

All activities are free of charge. Everyone is welcome to participate!
