World Vision's "Child Sponsorship Program" is child-centered and community-based, dedicated to helping poor families and communities in developing countries gradually solve poverty problems and build sustainable communities.

Some are forced into child labor, some drink contaminated water, and some even starve to death. Who can rewrite their childhood of such suffering? Through World Vision's Child Sponsorship Program, you can not only change the life of one impoverished child but also transform the child's family and the entire community.
Your loving contribution enables us to implement approximately 15-year "Area Development Projects" in the sponsored child's community. These projects comprehensively improve infrastructure, enhance villagers' capabilities, gradually address poverty issues, and ultimately build a self-reliant community free from poverty, ensuring children receive their basic needs.
When you become a sponsor, a unique friendship with your sponsored child begins immediately. First, you will receive the child's basic information. Afterwards, you can express love and care through letters and visits. World Vision also regularly organizes sponsor gatherings, bringing sponsors together to share the joy and fulfillment of participating in the "Child Sponsorship Program."
