This year's World Tourism Day unfolds around the theme of "Tourism and Green Investment". To celebrate this occasion, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is hosting its traditional Tray Race in the heart of the Macao Historic Centre. This year's race is themed "Macao with Courtesy".
Event Details
About the Race Participants representing various hotels and restaurants, dressed in elaborate costumes, will carry trays loaded with "Macao Beer". The race starts at the Ruins of St. Paul's, with competitors racing to deliver the beer to the finish line at Senado Square as quickly as possible. Prizes will be awarded for the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up in both men's and women's categories. There is also an award for the "Most Special Costume" based on the "Macao with Courtesy" theme. The event includes an awards ceremony and exciting performances.
